Announcing the First Core Concepts Desk Jockey Scholarship Recipient We have a winner! The first Desk Jockey Scholarship has been awarded. PJ, from Spokane, WA, is the recipient of our $200 Scholarship and with it, he can do whatever he pleases. What does he please? "Probably something a lot cooler than I did with the scholarship that I received in college." (See, he really is a scholar.) PJ plans on using his scholarship to spend "three days skiing the Tetons, culminating in a scamper up the Grand... all 13,770 feet." Sounds like PJ has a road trip to plan. In PJ's brief but persuasive application he was able to touch on some rather pressing issues:
Aardvarks, space travel, Miller High Life, The Grand Teton and the power grid for Washington State. As PJ is an engineer for a power company, (check out the arial photo of his office) Core Concepts is proud to say that getting PJ out of the office is literally helping a fellow Desk Jockey get off the grid. Congrats PJ. Make us proud!
